AUTHORS GUIDELINES
Submission Process
Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts electronically through the BISAJoTi Online Submission Portal or via email attachment to submissions@bisajoti.org.
Submissions are accepted for review with the understanding that the same work has neither been submitted to, nor published in, another publication.
Manuscript Formatting
File Format: MS Word (.doc or .docx)
Language: English, written in correct grammatical English
Spacing: Single-spaced
Font: Times New Roman, 12-point
Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
Page Numbers: Consecutively numbered
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be arranged in the following order:
Title — Concise and descriptive
Author Information — Full names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, email addresses, and telephone numbers of all authors
Abstract — Maximum 250 words, summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions
Keywords — 4-6 keywords for indexing
Introduction — Background, problem statement, objectives
Literature Review — Theoretical framework and review of relevant literature
Methodology — Research design, data collection, and analysis methods
Results — Clear presentation of findings
Discussion — Interpretation of results, implications
Conclusion — Summary, limitations, recommendations
Acknowledgements (if applicable)
References — APA 7th Edition format
Appendices (if applicable)
Figures and Tables
Illustrations and figures should be in computer format, high resolution (300 dpi)
Tables should be editable in MS Word format
All figures and tables must be numbered and cited in the text
Referencing Style
BISAJoTi uses the APA 7th Edition referencing style:
In-text: (Author, Year, p. Page)
Reference List: Alphabetical order by author surname
Submission Checklist
Before submitting, authors must confirm that:
- The manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere
- All authors have approved the submission
- The manuscript follows the BISAJoTi template
- All figures and tables are properly formatted
- References are in APA 7th Edition format
- Author contact information is complete
- ORCID IDs are provided for all authors
Peer Review Process
BISAJoTi follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research.
- Initial Screening | Editorial review for scope, originality, and formatting (3-5 days)
- Peer Review | Evaluation by 2-3 expert reviewers (2-4 weeks)
- Revision | Authors address reviewer comments (2-4 weeks)
- Final Decision | Editorial decision - Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject (1-2 weeks)
- 5. Publication | Copyediting, proofreading, and online publication (1-2 weeks)
Total Duration: 2 weeks to 2 months from submission to publication
Publication Fees (APC)
BISAJoTi operates on an Open Access model. To cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, and indexing, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies.
